Jerusalem

Jerusalem is the capital of Israel and a fascinating historic city, the city is sacred for three faiths namely Judaism, Islam and Christianity. Jerusalem was believed to be established 3000 years ago by King David hence making it one of the oldest cities in the world. Jerusalem is also known as ‘City of Gold’. Jerusalem is divided into three sections: the Old City, New City (West Jerusalem) and East Jerusalem, the old city is on UNESCO world heritage site list. Jerusalem is a unique place with the mixture of old and new. For visitors Jerusalem can be Israel’s modern capital or a ancient holy city or both.

• Jerusalem is one of the oldest cities on the planet with rich history and culture and hence visitors can expect great museums, the best museums in Jerusalem are The Israel Museum, Yad Vashem, The Museum on the Seam and 3Disrael.
• The Jerusalem Botanical Gardens was opened for public in 1985. the gardens are located in the neighborhood of Nayot. The garden is divided into different sections featuring fauna from different parts of the planet.
• Jerusalem being holy to both Christians and Muslims there are numerous historical and beautiful churches and mosques in Jerusalem like Church of Saint Anne, Church of Dormition, Church of all Nations, Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, Al-Aqsa Mosque, Qubbat Al-Sakhra (Dome of the Rock) and Musalla Marwan.
• The St. George’s Cathedral was established in 1899, the cathedral is the seat of the Bishop of Jerusalem of the Episcopal Church in Jerusalem and the Middle East. The cathedral has rare and beautiful architectural.
• Jerusalem being an ancient and holy city has other host of attractions and monuments which are holy to either of the three faiths namely Judaism, Islam and Christianity. Tel Aviv

Tel Aviv is the largest city in Israel and is located on the Mediterranean coast, it is a rapidly growing city located about 60 km north-west of Jerusalem, Tel Aviv has a rich historical and cultural heritage, Tel Aviv is one of the liveliest cities you will come across with amazing night life, restaurants, coffee shops, or smoke-filled bars, beaches, cafes, upscale shopping and a secular lifestyle.

• Tel Aviv beaches are free in the city center however an entrance fee is charged at Hatzuk also in Herzliya. Beaches often bear names of something prominent nearby, namely a street or hotel, leading to confusion specially when hotels reflag to other brands. • Habimah Square: It is a cultural center complex, among Israel’s most vital, which has the Habimah Theatre, Mann Auditorium, also the Helena Rubinstein Pavilion. Initiated in Russia in 1918 and repositioned to Tel Aviv 10 years soon after, Habimah Theatre is regarded as the home of Israel’s national theatre company, which has most performances in Hebrew and also simultaneous translations into other languages.
